STATEMENT OF FAITH

It is not a requirement for our subscribers to agree with our Statement of Faith, but we feel it is important to share this with you so that you know what standards we live by and what we believe.   Our evangelical Christian worldview dictates our decisions to accept or reject submissions and requests to have information posted on our web site.

We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.

We believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior.  On the cross, Jesus became sin and sickness, providing both salvation and healing for all mankind.

We believe all men have sinned and the only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh.

We believe salvation is offered as a free gift to the sinner. This gift must be accepted by faith, believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead, and not trusting in any personal work but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God and the revealed will of God.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ.  Each believer is an integral part.

We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.

We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.  We believe that all of these are available to believers.

We believe in the Christian's hope, the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
