Intermediate II: Ages 10 and above with tournament experience
WHEN: July 19-23, 2010 (Monday-Friday) 1:00-2:30 PM
COST: $40.00
This class is intended for the experienced chess player that has participated competitively for at least one year. Students will further expand their knowledge of openings, be introduced to in-depth tactics study, as well as a smattering of critical endgame studies. Students can expect to leave class confident as to how to proceed to the next level of competitive tournament play.
Advanced: Experienced tournament players only

COST: $40.00
This class will be entirely devoted to the study of the endgame. Players who complete the class will improve their ability to win drawn positions, and avoid losses when down. For players who have studied the endgame in detail before, this experience will provide them with the tools needed for mastery. For those less familiar with the key endgame concepts, the class will provide instantaneous benefits to their ability to finish games accurately under time pressure and pick up extra points in tournaments. Topic of study may change due to registration.
