GLOBAL MIDWIFERY

In 1993 I helped my friend birth her first child and there felt the call to devote my life to moms and babies. I attended the National College of Midwifery in 1999 and graduated with an Associates of Midwifery in 2000. I have a small homebirth practice based in the East Valley. MATERNALLY YOURS BIRTH DOULA & POSTPARTUM PAMPERING SERVICE *

As a homeschool mom of 4, I have always had a passion for working with expecting women and their families during such a momentous time in their lives. Maternally Yours offers both Birth Doula Services as well as Postpartum Pampering Services. As a birth doula my role is support women and their families during the pregnancy, labor & delivery, and immediate postpartum period. Doula’s offer informational support as well as physical support using various comfort measures. I generally meet with my clients at least every 4-6 weeks throughout their pregnancy. Together we go over your ideal birth plan, and I answer any questions you may have. Closer to your due date we go over various comfort measures to help you during labor. When your special day arrives, I am with you continuously throughout your labor, delivery, and postpartum until your family is comfortably settled. I then meet with you once again after you are home and settled, to go over your birth and help you process your birth experience. I also offer a variety of postpartum pampering services which are a great gift for a baby shower, or a great way to pamper yourself during such a deserving time.
