About Us

H.E.R.O. is an internet-based Christian homeschool network run by a Christian homeschooling couple for families in Arizona.   H.E.R.O. is not a support group.   We have no membership dues or meetings.   H.E.R.O. is a service we provide at no charge and an opportunity for us to bless and support fellow homeschooling parents.

The purpose of H.E.R.O. is to connect private homeschooling families and to provide a place for them to share information with one another.   We accomplish this primarily through e-mail newsletters that are sent out once a week to our subscribers. 

H.E.R.O. does not organize or supervise activities, field trips, classes, etc.  Most of the information is sent to us by our subscribers.  The e-mail newsletters and the web site contain information about local events and activities, field trips, resources, discounts and deals, supplementary/enrichment classes, seminars, and more.  

IMPORTANT NOTE:: The H.E.R.O. e-mail list is specifically for parents who are teaching one or more of their children themselves at home (including those with young children who are planning to homeschool).  It is not intended for parents of public or private school students including students enrolled in virtual academies (public school) or community schools (private school), even if part of the child's work is done at home.
